Introducing InsYght, the Statewide Entrepreneurship Support System

October 14, 2010

Perhaps the most important function of The MORE Program will be its ability to connect entrepreneurs and innovators to the resources they need to help them advance their businesses.

For members, entrepreneurs and innovators who come to The MORE Program for assistance, they’ll find all they need with InsYght, the statewide system to support entrepreneurs and business development. Formerly introduced as SESS, we’ve changed the name to InsYght to better reflect its mission and function – to bring insight and clarity to pressing issues of the moment for entrepreneurs, innovators and small business owners who are on the path to building or growing their enterprise.

InsYght will aggregate, filter and provide access to entrepreneurial support mechanisms throughout Michigan in order to help entrepreneurs succeed.

* InsYght is based on differential diagnosis algorithms created for the medical industry which have been developed into a web-based system to diagnose the challenges a business is facing and will identify the best “treatment option” available

InsYght will act as a just-in-time collective intelligence system for delivering human, technical, multimedia, financial and other support mechanisms to prospective, emerging and established entrepreneurs

InsYght is not just another one-stop shop in a community of one-stop shops. Rather, the philanthropically-supported initiative is a centralized system that is being rebranded by universities, economic development agencies, downtown development authorities, municipalities and business associations. No matter where a business turns for help, InsYght will give it access to all of the resources available from across the state

InsYght will be available to all The MORE Program’s partner organizations through the generous funding of the New Economy Initiative. InsYght is scheduled to launch in early 2011.
