The Jutila Center for Global Design and Business
Finlandia University’s Jutila Center, located at 200 Michigan Street in Hancock, Michigan was opened in 2005. The Jutila Center is a small-business incubator with more than 30 leasable spaces and other resources for business, including design and business consulting, rapid prototyping, and training seminars.
The studios and labs are expansive and professional. By combining design spaces within a business incubator, Finlandia University has created a "community" where students, faculty, and business people interact and collaborate. Community entrepreneurs come for training, consultation services, and inspiration. The incubator eases the transition from college to business by providing a supportive and creative environment in which to develop business start-ups
In six short years the Jutila Center has become a thriving hub of education, innovation, and entrepreneurialism.
