The MORE Program and the U.S. Small Business Administration
January 27, 2011
Executives from The MORE Program will travel to Washington, D.C. in late January to meet with members of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Plans call for The MORE Program Executive Director, Ken Agacinski, and President, Brian Balasia, to meet with Karen G. Mills, Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration and key members of her team. They’ll be discussing the ongoing relationship between the two organizations and how best to ensure the resources of the U.S. Small Business Administration are integrated into InsYght so they can be made available to innovators and business owners throughout the state.
Recently featured in Crain’s Detroit Business, The MORE Program and the U.S. Small Business Administration signed a Strategic Alliance Memorandum last year. A federal agency with more than 2,000 full-time employees, the U.S. SBA takes a leading role helping small business owners and entrepreneurs secure financing, technical assistance, training and federal contracts.
